There was a period every film maker in Tollywood was trying to rope in either Samantha or Kajal for their big ticket films. Has the trend changed now? Looking at new combinations on paper, we might say yes as we can see the new trend creeping in. Kriti Sanon opposite Mahesh in ‘1’ Nenokkadine, Vaani Kapoor paired Nani with in Yash Raj Film’s south debut film Aha Kalyanam and Naga Chaitanya gets to romance Pooja Hedge in his un titled films are few latest ones to name a few.

What’s surprising here is how much do these makers know about the new faces they are signing up before they bring them on board? Of-course it is always the re-call value of the current actresses and salability opposite star heroes makes them hunt for new faces. Looks like the audience too ready for a new batch of heroines for their favorite stars, let’s wait and see who will stay and who will disappear quickly.
