Buchi Babu Sana is currently directing Ram Charan’s Peddi, and there is no doubt about the impact he has created right from the beginning. Be it the visuals, the song, or the promotional content released so far, everything has landed perfectly and generated solid buzz.

We all know Telugu star heroes are constantly looking for capable directors. Many of them lock directors well in advance, sometimes even before a film releases, purely based on early hype.

But surprisingly, in Buchi’s case, no so called big Telugu star has openly expressed interest in working with him post Peddi. Even in industry gossip circles, no Tier-1 star hero’s name is being linked to his next project. That naturally raises a question. Why is this happening?

Buchi Babu already delivered a blockbuster with newcomers through Uppena. With Peddi, he has once again shown his strong music and visual sense, even though only one song is out so far. The film is riding on very high hype.

Yet, no big star seems to be rushing to lock him.

This also shows how some top stars calculate their choices. At times, they run behind directors who deliver one-hit wonders or create heavy self-hype through aggressive public talk. Noise often gets more attention than talent.

It feels strange that no leading Telugu star is actively trying to lock Buchi Babu post-Peddi.

If Peddi delivers a solid blockbuster, the situation could change overnight. The moment the film proves itself at the box office, we may immediately see a big Telugu star locking him for his next project.
