Telugu filmmaker Ravi Babu, who scared the living daylights out of the audiences with his suspense-thriller “Avunu”, still hasn’t found a suitable female protagonist to feature in the Hindi remake. He says he is still in process of finalizing.
Poorna aka Shamna Kasim played the leading lady in “Avunu”, which was about the story of a supernatural presence in a house of a newlywed couple. Initially, Anushka Sharma was approached for the role but for some reason it didn’t work out.
Recently, Yami Gautham, who was approached for the film, turned down the offer for some reason. But, Ravi Babu doesn’t seem to worry about it and says he will wait until he finds the perfect replacement for Poorna.
Meanwhile, Ravi has started working on his next untitled Telugu directorial venture with Allari Naresh. He is currently busy shooting for the film.
