Ileana has stopped doing Telugu films post Julayi and from what we have observed in the past few years the indication is clear that she doesn’t want to return to the Southern film industry again, Telugu film industry to be precise. One would assume therefore that the actress must be getting best of offers in Hindi films so that she doesn’t have to look southward? That isn’t the case so far but it could be soon.
The actress had a dream debut with the film Barfi in Hindi opposite Ranbir Kapoor but post that she hasn’t got any worthy film in her kitty. Her next release, Happy Ending, with Saif Ali Khan could be such project but so far it has been a low key affair. The real turning point for the actress however could be the movie Fan which has Bollywood Baadshah Shah Rukh Khan in the lead. Latest buzz in Bollywood circles suggest that the actress is being considered for the part of heroine in this much anticipated film. If she is finally chosen to be part of Fan it could surely be a great turning point for her without any doubt. There is a lot of competition for that role though and we have to see if Ileana emerges as the number 1 ‘Fan’ girl or not.
