Will Catherine survive in Tollywood?

Catherine Tresa, who made her debut in the South Indian film industry with Duniya Vijay’s film Shankar IPS in 2010 in which she played a model hasn’t been able to make much of a name for herself in Mollywood despite her notable debut. This led her to make a move to Tollywood where she is ready to come out with her new film Iddarammayilatho directed by Puri Jagannadh.

In Iddarammayilatho was released on Friday, Catherine stars opposite Allu Arjun. The film in question has opened with bad reviews and Catherine Tresa has in particular received some criticism for her performance. With not so favorable talk of this film at box office, it remains to be seen how her next two projects Chammak Challo and Paisa does on the box office. Since Chammak Challo is a small film stars Varun Sandesh, Krishna Vamshi’s Paisa may be a deciding factor for Catherine’s future in Tollywood.
