Will Mahesh leave all Telugu Directors Behind?

At present Mahesh Babu is pretty busy shooting for his next movie ‘Srimanthudu’ with Koratala Shiva. And there is no clarification on his next after Koratala’s movie. We keep hearing different names like Trivikram Srinivas, Puri Jagannadh etc who would probably take up Mahesh’s next movie after ‘Srimanthudu’.

Suddenly a different buzz about R.T. Neason is making rounds in film circles. Neason is a Tamil director who made his debut with ‘Jilla’ starring superstar Vijay and Mohanlal. And if the buzz is to be believed a big production house is in talks with Mahesh Babu and Neason for his next. It is going to be a new story not a remake. He is yet to narrate the storyline to Mahesh Babu and get his nod.

When Mahesh is having a big league of Telugu star directors like Sukumar, Puri, Trivikram etc waiting to direct him again, will Mahesh leave all of them behind and pair up with a Tamil director who is one film old? Neason hasn’t even met Mahesh Babu and can we expect that even before hearing the script, Mahesh would take any such decision?

If it happens, are we to believe that none of the top directors in Telugu has interesting story ideas to impress Mahesh Babu for his next? It’s too early to decide anything. Let’s wait and see what finally emerges as Mahesh’s decision.
