Will Nani Make a Hattrick or Hit a Million?

Natural Star Nani is considered to be a dependable hero whose film usually hits the $1 Million mark in the USA. But his last few films, like Gang Leader and Shyam Singha Roy, have missed touching that coveted mark.

Gang Leader was a below-average film, but Shyam Singha Roy couldn’t hit the $1 Million mark because of a poor opening. The film opened with a gross of $133 K and ended its US run with around $900 K collections.

Nani’s latest Ante Sundaraniki is releasing on Thursday in the U.S. market and it’s a light hearted entertainer. Director Vivek Athreya’s style also matches with the U.S Telugu audience requirements, which is a plus for its overseas business.

Out of Nani’s last three films, two of them, V and Tuck Jagadish, released on OTT, and Shyam Singha Roy, despite doing well, couldn’t hit the $ 1 Million mark.

So it is a bit difficult to judge where Nani’s Ante Sundaraniki will end, but the trade analysts feel that if the film gets good early reviews and positive talk from the audience, then the film is sure to hit the $1 Million mark in the US.

It will be interesting to see if Nani makes a Hattrick of disappointments or hits $1 Million in the US with Ante Sundaraniki.
