Raj Tarun had a promising start to his career with Uyyala Jampala. He created a mark for himself as the next-door-boy with this film. After that, he delivered a few small-budget hits like Cinema Chupistha Mava and Eedo Rakam Aado Rakam. Kumari 21 F also emerged as a hit but the heroine Hebah Patel took away the credit.
But after that, Raj Tarun tried to gain the image of a regular mass hero with commercial films like Kittu Unnadu Jagratha, Andhhagadu, Orey Bujjiga, and others.
But none of them turned out to be successful and he completely lost his market. He even tried his luck on OTT with Aha Naa Pellanta web series but it didn’t do much benefit to his career.
Now he is coming up as the third lead in Nagarjuna’s Sankranthi release Naa Saami Ranga. After playing a lead hero, he is now playing the third fiddle to Nagarjuna and Allari Naresh.
We have to see if his gamble of playing a side role in Naa Saami Ranga would pay off and turn the tide in his favor.
This film can be considered a last chance to make an impact in mainstream cinema as a hero for Raj Tarun.
