Will Ravi Teja Score A Hattrick Or Revive?

Ravi Teja has had a disastrous 2022. Both his theatrical outings this year, Khiladi and Ramarao On Duty were huge disasters at the box office. Incidentally, the senior hero will have a third release this year with Dhamaka.

Dhamaka is announced for release on the 23rd of December this year. It is getting a Christmas release.

The film is directed by Trinadha Rao Nakkina. He doesn’t have any memorable films till now but he has the knack of making commercial potboilers that tend to work commercially.

The first song from the album Dinchak is a decent hit and it gave some impetus to the promotional campaign. Given the kind of slump Ravi Teja is in at the moment, he badly needs a hit with Dhamaka. For that to happen Trinadh will have to tap into Ravi Teja’s trademark style and presence, something most of his recent directors have failed at.

Team Dhamaka has been promoting the film as a proper commercial entertainer with Ravi Teja mark swag and mass. If Trinadha really can execute a winning commercial entertainer, Ravi Teja will end 2022 on a high with a box office hit. Else, he will complete a hat-trick of disasters in 2022.
