Will Srinivasa Kalyanam Repeat Bommarillu Feat?

If one is following the happenings related to Srinivasa Kalyanam, it would be an understatement if we say Dil Raju is supremely confident about the movie. The star producer has held a screening and is gung-ho about movie’s commercial prospects.

The current generation might not remember, but years ago Dil Raju showed similar confidence with the movie Bommarillu. It went on to become a classic. Before that, there was Dil and Arya. These films basically established him as a star producer.

A few years later, Dil Raju showed similar levels of excitement on few other movies, but they didn’t live up to the expectations. Oh My Friend immediately comes to one’s mind.

The real question now is which Dil Raju confidence is going to come true for Srinivasa Kalyanam. Actor Nithiin would surely love it to be among the initial set of films and repeat Bommarillu sentiment. Call it a coincidence but Srinivasa Kalyanam too is releasing in the same date as Bommarillu, August 9. Let’s see if the sentiment repeats or not.
