The combination of director and writer duo is important for the success of any movie. But Tollywood makers are not known to give scriptwriters their due credit. As a result, there are several spats with writers walking away and becoming directors. The same happened for Boyapati Srinu and Koratala Siva during Simha and that spat finally made Koratala, a director. Boyapati’s Dhammu suffered after Koratala walked away and at the same time, Koratala’s maiden movie, Mirchi went on to become a huge hit.
Same is the case with Vaitla and Kona Venkat now. Differences arose between them regarding the credits of Baadshah movie and now Kona is fuming with Vengeance. He is now planning a short film in US back drop with Indian actors to gain experience in film making. We will have to see what is in store for him and Vaitla?
