Will the Akkineni Hero Shut Criticism?

Shekhar Kammula is one of those directors who believe in authenticity. Many of us know about his commitment and the way he trains his actors to get the nuances right for the characters they play; their attires, accent, attitude etc.

For his next movie, a love story starring Naga Chaitanya and Sai Pallavi as the lead pair, the director has decided to train Naga Chaitanya in acing the Telangana slang. We know how he trained Sai Pallavi ace the Telangana slang to perfection.

There is a criticism on Naga Chaitanya that he hasn’t shown his talent so far in pulling off different accents or at least tried a different dialogue delivery even once. Can Shekhar Kammula make him do it now? it would be refreshing for both Naga Chaitanya’s fans and even the common audiences.

Of course, we don’t underestimate Kammula as he knows better what he needs to do for his film. It would be interesting to see how he would mould Naga Chaitanya. By the way, the film’s first schedule has begun at a specially constructed village set in Secunderabad.
