Director S.V. Krishna Reddy, who has been away from filmdom since his last release – 2009 Telugu comedy “Masth” – is back to make a sequel to the 1994 Telugu blockbuster “Yamaleela”.
He said that he has been thinking about it for some time now and he intends to start working on it soon with the perfect cast as he feels ”Yamaleela’ worked because of the performances of its lead actors.
The sequel will feature an entirely new cast and Krishna is planning to have a popular actor play the lead while Manchu Mohan Babu will likely reprise the role of Satyanarayana. Krishna Reddy is Known for making clean family entertainers such as “Maavichiguru”, “Vinodham” and “Subha Lagnam”. Let’s hope this sequel also turns out to be as entertaining as his previous films.
