Gossip: Yash Warned Deverakonda Much Before?

What a disaster Liger turned out to be, onscreen as well as offscreen! The issues pertaining to the distributors and buyers demanding compensation from Puri Jagannadh have taken the worst possible turn with Puri filing a police complaint against them.

Now there’s a rumor floating in the industry that during KGF days, Puri Jagannadh had pitched Jana Gana Mana story to Rocking Star Yash. But that did not work out. Then Puri went to Vijay Deverakonda and the rest is history.

The rumors don’t stop here. It is being said that Yash warned Vijay something about Jana Gana Mana which he felt was not fair to him.

Vijay Deverakonda signed Jana Gana Mana looking at Liger pre-release biz figures. But the failure of Liger was a wake-up call and before things proceeded to the next level, the project was shelved.

If the rumors are true, then Yash’s script sense must be applauded! When we contacted Vijay’s team they confirmed that it’s just another gossip.
