You Guys Will Compare Me with NTR

Vishal made sense when he revealed that his upcoming movie ‘Ayogya’ will not be releasing in Telugu. Vishal has a target audience in the mass centres and that’s the reason his movies are released in Telugu simultaneously. But, he isn’t daring enough to release ‘Ayogya’ as it the Tamil remake of NTR’s ‘Temper’.

He is afraid of the comparisons and said modestly that he could never reach and match up to the performance NTR has delivered in ‘Temper’. True. ‘Temper’ will remain one of NTR’s best performances ever and Telugu audiences will not forget his performance for the next 10-15 years, says Vishal. For the Tamil remake, the makers of the movie had tweaked the second half a lot and they wanted to address the ongoing #MeToo movement and the fight against sexual harassment.

Vishal had seen the movie a year ago and didn’t attempt to watch it again as he can become conscious to live up to Tarak’s performance. He can’t replicate NTR’s performance but it is a story that needs to be told in the present scenario, opined the actor. Talking about the comparisons with the Hindi remake of ‘Temper’ featuring Ranveer Singh in the lead, the hero feels that there wouldn’t be any comparisons. He is happy that his producers are giving the best.
