Young superstar not interested in promotions?

When a big film is due to release soon, what one expects is to go for full on promotional campaign to get maximum publicity for the film. Especially superstars are expected to join in the promotions to increase the mileage for the films. But here is one young hero who doesn’t want to promote his film. He is Ranbir Kapoor.

Ranbir’s upcoming movie ‘Roy’ was gearing up for release and the theatrical trailers are creating good buzz. With Arjun Rampal playing the main male lead, Jacqueline Fernandes of ‘Kick’ fame is playing dual roles. Ranbir Kapoor has a cameo appearance. Hence Ranbir thinks that it would give a wrong message to the audience if he goes on promotional spree.

He wants the film to be called a ‘Arjun Rampal’s film and doesn’t want to take away the focus from him. Coming to Tollywood, will Pawan Kalyan also take the same decision regarding ‘Gopala Gopala’ as his character is said to be like an extended cameo appearance and the full-pledged role is done by Venkatesh?
