Mayasabha – Story Of CBN & YSR Friendship?

Mayasabha: The Rise of the Titans, the teaser of this series was unveiled today, and it was announced that the series would premiere on Sony LIV on August 7, in Telugu, Hindi, Tamil and Malayalam. Touted to be a political drama loosely inspired by the political scenario of erstwhile united Andhra Pradesh in the mid-90s, this series is created by acclaimed filmmaker Deva Katta. Deva Katta and Kiran Jay Kumar have jointly directed the project. It appears like the Story of Chandrababu Naidu and YS Rajasekhara Reddy early in their Political Careers.

Mayasabha features Aadi Pinishetty (as Kakarla Krishnama Naidu), Chaitanya Rao Madadi (MS Rami Reddy) and Divya Duatta (as Iravati Basu) in the pivotal roles, among others. The teaser introduces us to Naidu (Aadi) and Reddy (Rami Reddy) as friends who have become political rivals. Their camaraderie, early life in politics, their rise to power and the eventual political rivalry might be the main crux of the series. Through their lives and bond, we get to see the inside view of politics in this series.
