Light-hearted entertainment, though not entirely fresh or extraordinary, tends to sell well on OTT platforms, especially when the production quality is good and the show features a decent cast.
Bench Life falls into this category, offering a fun watch set in a posh IT office environment, with a strong star cast including Rajendra Prasad and Vaibhav Reddy.
The friends gang, featuring Charan Peri and his wife, Nayan Sarika, is perfectly cast. Venkatesh Kakumanu and others bring a good vibe, while Aakanksha Singh adds a modern appeal to the show.
Though there isn’t anything particularly groundbreaking, a show like this is an easy pick for home audiences. It provides some nice, heartfelt laughs and moves along smoothly.
