The Election Commission of India started announcing the schedule for the upcoming General Elections. It was announced that the Andhra Pradesh’s elections will be held on May 13 (Monday).
The Election Code will be implemented from today. The Gazette notification will be out on April 18. The last date for filing nominations is April 25. The scrutiny of nominations will be done the next day, April 26.
The last date for the candidates to withdraw their nominations is April 29. The polling will be held on May 13. The results will be out on June 4.
As the schedule is out now and there are only 58 days left for the polling, we can expect all parties to intensify their campaigns from now.
