In the past, the CBI had alleged that there were discrepancies in the deal. Incidentally, the CBI said a deal was finalised between Puneet Dalmia and Vijaysai Reddy.

The CBI filed a chargesheet in 2013 saying that Dalmia Cements along with Jagan illegally managed to get the lease of limestone mines. Through the deal, Jagan made Rs 150 crore, CBI said.

Shares worth Rs 95 crore in Raghuram Cements and Rs 55 crore were given as hawala money to Jagan, CBI alleged. Based on CBI’s chargesheet, ED took up investigation under money laundering case. In a latest move, properties worth Rs 793 crore have been attached.
