A Temple for Narendra Modi!

After BJP’s Delhi Assembly debacle, there is a huge discussion in media if the popularity of Narendra Modi is on a decline. While it is difficult to gauge that now, supporters of the Prime Minister had built a Temple for him in Rajkot, Gujarat.

The Temple is constructed by more than 350 members of the group by collecting small donations and now planned to conduct daily worship there. The construction cost them seven Lakhs while the idol costed 1.7 Lakh. This temple is going to be inaugurated on February 16th.

On the other side, Modi expressed his extreme displeasure on Twitter. He appealed that such things are against our tradition. He urged his supporters instead to devote their time, money to fulfilling the dream of a Clean India – Swachch Bharat. We will have to see if they now stop the temple inauguration!
