ACB Court rejects EC’s request!

Reports are emerging that the ACB Special Court had rejected the plea of the Election Commission to hand over all the evidences and the Forensic Science Lab Report in Cash for Vote scam. The judge Lakshmipathi clarified that EC request can not be granted at this stage of the case.

This is an interesting twist in this case. The scam is supposed to be an electoral offence as it happened when the election notification is on but EC had given its mandate to Telangana ACB to investigate the case. But all of sudden, EC interfered in the case filing a petition for the case material three days ago.

On the other side, Forensic Lab was particular about the case report. It asked the court not to share the material and reports to any one with out its permission. Even Telangana ACB obtained them after taking permission from FSL.
