Accused In Viveka’s Murder Blackmailing CBI?

CBI’s charge sheet in Former Minister YS Vivekananda Reddy’s murder case is a hot topic in Andhra Pradesh Politics right now. TDP is trying to corner the ruling party as CBI has indicated doubt on Kadapa MP YS Avinash Reddy.

TDP senior leader Bonda Uma said the accused in the Viveka murder case were blackmailing the CBI. He alleged that Viveka’s murder was committed by YSR Congress leaders under Avinash Reddy and the CBI has clearly told the court about it.

“YCP has tried to showcase Viveka’s murder as a heart attack. How can anyone think a cold-blooded murder is a heart attack? They misled the investigation and tried to tamper the evidence,” the former MLA alleged.

“Jagan had approached the high court on March 19, 2019, seeking a CBI inquiry when he is in the Opposition. The case was withdrawn on February 6, 2020, when he became the CM. Was it not to save Avinash Reddy that the case was withdrawn?,” Bonda Uma questioned.
