BJP Disowns ‘Kammaga Undi Palana’ Comment: AP

The Andhra Pradesh BJP chief Madhav disowned the comments made by Jammalamadugu BJP MLA Adinarayana Reddy. AP CM Chandrababu has been following the alliance decorum. Despite that there are minor cracks in the set-up as some leaders create mischief.

Jammalamadugu MLA Adinarayana Reddy said the rule in the state was progressing ‘Kammaga’. He told the audience to get what he meant. He said the CM must think of other communities apart from his own community while giving posts.

Adinarayana Reddy attended the BJP Kamalavikasam programme in Tirupati. He said that in 1983, Gajjela Mallareddy made a similar comment about NTR’s rule.

Adinarayana Reddy went on to say that posts must be given to those who worked hard for the government and all castes must be considered. He said, without BJP, TDP and Jana Sena don’t have a future in AP. He demanded that the BJP members be given priority in local body elections.

Obviously, the comments drew some strong comments against Adinarayana Reddy and the state BJP. The topic has been widely debated on social media.

Owning to the seriousness of the matter, AP BJP chief made a statement that they had nothing to do with Adinarayana Reddy’s comments against TDP and Jana Sena. He said they will ask for an explanation from Adinarayana Reddy in the matter.
