Date Set For New Party in Telangana

Election Commission of India has approved the name of Kodandaram’s Proposed New Political Party. It is named Telangana Jana Samiti. Kodandaram himself will make the announcement on April 2nd and the flag of the party will be unveiled on April 4th.

A huge public meeting is planned on April 29th which will be the first public meeting of the Telangana Jana Samiti. Kodandaram, who led T-JAC along with TRS to spearhead the statehood movement is at loggerheads with the government on various issues.

He is expected to fight the next election. The Ruling Party obviously is not comfortable and is alleging that he has some secret understanding with the Congress Party. It has to be seen if Kodandaram will be able to unite the opposition under one roof.
