GHMC Notices To Allu Aravind

The Sandhya Theater Stampede controversy had just settled when the Telangana Congress government delivered another shock to the Allu family.

The Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation (GHMC) issued notices to Producer Allu Aravind, who is still mourning the recent loss of his mother. The notices are linked to his Allu Business Park, located at Jubilee Hills Road No. 45.

GHMC had permitted construction of only two cellars and four floors. However, officials found that an additional penthouse had been built. Objecting to this, GHMC Circle-18 issued a show-cause notice to Allu Aravind, asking why the illegal structure should not be demolished.

The construction of Allu Business Park began in November 2023. It was launched on the 101st birth anniversary of the late actor Allu Ramalingaiah. The building is set to host offices of Geetha Arts and Allu Arts, making it the hub of the Allu family’s business activities.

Now, the building has landed in controversy due to alleged violations. Following reports of irregularities, Circle-18 Deputy Municipal Commissioner Sammayya ordered an inspection.

Public opinion is divided over these notices. Some believe the Congress government is intentionally targeting the Allu family, while others argue it is only a routine procedure.
