The latest news is that the government of Andhra Pradesh has permitted the sale of 14 acres of land in the Core Capital area in Amaravati.
This means that 14 acres in the mainland core capital of Amaravati, Guntur and NTR districts will be put up for sale for buyers.
They have divided this land into 1-acre bits and each of this bit will cost a minimum of Rs 5.94 crores. There is an auction system in place in case there are multiple interested parties for a single bit of land.
However, the response to this move from the AP government has been abysmal as not many bids have been submitted for the same. The anti stance taken by the YCP government has come back to haunt them now as they’re looking to sell pieces of land in Amaravati.
