Chandrababu said that they gave 25 acres for expansion. He added that it was his intention to develop people’s capital Amaravati on the model of Gods’ capital Amaravati.

The CM said that Lord Venkateswara saved his life. He added that he cannot think of doing anything wrong or disrespectful in Amaravati.

Chandrababu’s vision for the capital city highlights the spiritual and historical value of the region. Once the capital of the Satavahana dynasty, it was also a major Buddhist site.

His government has pushed the Amaravati Capital Bill in the Parliament to give legal sanctity to the capital. The Bill will be taken up in the upcoming Parliament sessions.
