Andhra Pradesh Capital Region Development Authority approved major funds for capital works. Rs 169 crore is allocated for the Governor’s bungalow and Lok Bhavan. The government also approved Rs 163 crore for government complexes and the judicial academy.
APCRDA cleared a Rs 7380 crore NABARD loan for priority infrastructure. Rs 532 crore is sanctioned to link Seed Axis Road with NH 16. As announced by CM Chandrababu, government office buildings will be ready by March 2026.
There is also progress in land pooling for the capital. The second phase has already begun, and citizens welcome the move. The union law department has cleared the Bill to make Amaravati the permanent capital. It now awaits presentation in Parliament.
