Along with the officials, Ministers Botsa Satyanarayana, Buggana Rajendranath Reddy, and Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy were made respondents.

Officials and Government heads intentionally violated the court order. The Government heads influenced the officials not to execute the court order, the petitioner alleged.

Earlier this month, the Government already filed a petition in the high Court seeking the extension from 6 months to 60 months in the time given to develop Amaravati as per the Master Plan.

In its March judgment, the court said all development works should be completed in six months and farmers who have given their lands for the capital should be given developed plots with all amenities in three months
