Amaravati 2.0 will begin tomorrow. Prime Minister Modi will restart the works of Amaravati. Arrangements are being made along with tight security. A day before the PM’s programme, AP PCC chief Sharmila has made some sensational comments.
She said that they were sending Amaravathi soil to Modi as a gift. She even showed the container with the soil to media. Sharmila said Modi must be reminded of all the promises he made in 2015. Ten years have passed and nothing has been done, she said.
Ee saraina Amaravati kattena leka mattena, said Sharmila sarcastically (Will he build Amaravati at least now or will it be only soil again). She said that Modi must promise on the soil that he will not cheat again and only then enter Amaravati. Capital development was one of the promises when the state was formed, said the PCC chief.
Sharmila said that PM Modi must give it in writing and sign that he will make the dream of Amaravati true and build a better capital than New Delhi. We don’t want loans. Our future generations must not suffer the burden of loans, Sharmila said.
The Center must build a capital in 3 years with Rs 1.50 lakh crore. Legality must be provided for Amaravati. All the promises made during the division of the state must be fulfilled, demanded Sharmila on her X handle.
