Yesterday, the CBI seized around 25000 kg of suspected drugs in a shipping container at Visakhapatnam port. The drugs were being passed off as dried yeast.
The container was coming from Brazil for delivery at Visakhapatnam. The mafia were delivering cocaine for a private company named Sandhya Aqua. It was alleged that Daggubati Purandeshwari’s relative KV Prasad has a partnership with this company.
Meanwhile, MP Raghu Rama Krishna Raju said that Prasad is not related to this drug bust case. He said that Prasad cut off his connections with the company more than a decade ago.
He alleged that the Jagan Mohan Reddy-led YSR Congress Party is trying to blame Chandrababu Naidu and Purandeshwari to gain momentum in the elections. He challenged YCP to prove him wrong.
