Inquiry Commission On Ghee Case: AP Cabinet

The Andhra Pradesh Cabinet met on Tuesday and decided to set up an Inquiry Commission to identify those responsible in the Tirumala adulterated ghee case. The decision was taken after detailed discussions during the meeting.

During the three hour Cabinet meeting, the issue of adulterated ghee and the SIT report were reviewed. The Cabinet agreed that strict action must be taken against those involved based on the findings.

The Cabinet found several gaps in the SIT report, the chargesheet and facts submitted to the government. It was decided that these differences must be examined carefully and further action should be taken accordingly.

The Cabinet also discussed why certain facts revealed during interrogation were not included in the chargesheet. This raised serious concerns and led to the decision to form an Inquiry Commission.

The Tirumala adulterated ghee case deeply hurt the sentiments of Lord Balaji devotees. The Chandrababu government had ordered an inquiry soon after coming to power and formed a special SIT.

Although some accused are currently in jail, the main person behind the adulteration is yet to be identified. Many Telugu citizens are demanding strong punishment for those who betrayed public faith.

This latest move reflects the government’s commitment to ensuring accountability and delivering justice in the sensitive matter.
