#APFightsCOVID: Nodal Officer of COVID Hospitals Dies Without A Bed

Here is a shocking News Report in Eenadu Newspaper. BS Subbarayudu (58) is the director of the Andhra Pradesh Micro Irrigation Project. He is recently appointed as the Nodal Officer for COVID Hospitals in the Anantapur district.

He has been suffering from a Kidney-related ailment for the last three days. His family members have tried to get him a bed in any hospital but in vain. He has been tested positive for COVID-19 on Friday evening and developed breathing problems.

“I am a district-level officer. I am praying with folded hands. Give me a bed,” Subbarayudu requested but to of no use, the family members said. He was admitted to a small hospital but had to be moved to a Super specialty hospital as there is no ventilator in the hospital.

The doctors at the Super specialty hospital tested his vitals and declared him brought dead. The family members say there is not even a stretcher in the super specialty hospital and they had to carry him inside.
