The Chief Minister was speaking at the 14th SIPB meeting held on Tuesday. Nara Lokesh, several ministers, and senior officials attended the meeting. Chandrababu said the government chose to bear Rs 4500 crore in Trueup charges.

He explained that this decision was taken to avoid burdening the public. The government is also exploring ways to reduce electricity purchase costs. One major focus is encouraging the use of solar energy.

Chandrababu said the Centre’s suryaghar yojana is being actively implemented. Through these measures, the government aims to bring down power tariffs further. By 2029, the target is to reduce tariffs by Rs 3.70.

The Chief Minister said reducing the financial burden on people gives him satisfaction. He added that data centers are choosing Andhra Pradesh due to improvements in the power sector. These efforts have strengthened investor confidence.

Chandrababu said investments are flowing not only into the power sector but also other industries. He noted that Andhra Pradesh successfully promoted brand AP at Davos. He credited Minister Lokesh for making special efforts to attract investors.

He said companies like Google, TCS, Infosys, and Cognizant responded positively due to AP’s image. Chandrababu urged ministers and officials to work in coordination. He stressed the need for speed and error-free governance.
