Administration Shift to Be Complete next Month

The interim Secretariat construction works at Velagapudi are nearing completion. Departments have started occupying one by one. The last batch of departments that were to be shifted by 29th of this month will shift only in August. The decision is taken because 29th is considered inauspicious.

They will be now shifting sometime between August 4th and 10th. The officials are hoping that everything will be ready by then and administration is likely to begin from there from August 15th at full strength. The officials who have visited the secretariat till now are stunned by the interiors.

The interim secretariat has many modern facilities even when compared to the Secretariat in Hyderabad. When it is all complete, employees will be at a more comfortable work space. The administration shift which was supposed to happen in June was delayed due to untimely rains that hit the area, which derailed the construction work.
