Temporary Secretariat ahead of schedule!

The Construction of Temporary Secretariat in Velagapudi of the Capital Region is going on at brisk pace. The construction schedule is well ahead of the schedule, the construction companies, L&T and Shapoorji Pallonji say. According to the agreement, the buildings should be complete by June 15th but they will be now finishing it by June 1st.

The government is also planning two extra floors in the buildings and they are estimated to cost 500 Crore extra. The tenders for the extra floors will be called very soon. Work at the construction site is going on day and night in multiple shifts. The government is planning to shift at least 8000 employees in June to Amaravati.

The government will also start creating basic infrastructure like Sanitation, drinking water, Power, Roads, Parking, Security etc. Minister Narayana is entrusted the task of talking to the employees and convince them to shift. Every one are eagerly waiting for Center’s announcement about nativity.
