Temporary Secretariat is a win-win idea!

Andhra Pradesh government is mooting the idea of the temporary secretariat at Amaravati Township in Mangalagiri area, close to the capital city, so as to make sure that the administration shift happens as fast as possible.

The temporary secretariat will be completed within six months using Prefab or Precasting technology and it will cover an area of six lakh square feet at an estimated cost of Rs 180 crore. The government plans to sell these buildings to companies that execute buildings in the capital city.

The land prices will soar once the capital construction begins and the state government will be making a profit from the sale of the buildings then. However the major challenge for the government is to pool in this required 180 Crore now.
