On the occasion of Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu’s birthday on April 20, his wife Nara Bhuvaneswari made a meaningful contribution by donating ₹76 lakh for Anna Canteens.
With this support, free meals will be provided in 269 Anna Canteens across the state on that day. Usually, these canteens serve food at just ₹5, offering clean and affordable meals to the poor.
Bhuvaneswari said she felt a sense of satisfaction in contributing to this initiative. She mentioned that feeding the hungry brings a unique kind of happiness and there is no better way to mark Chandrababu’s birthday.
She also highlighted that Anna Canteens are helping lakhs of people every day by providing food at a very low cost in a hygienic environment.
On April 20, meals will be served completely free across all centres, making it a special gesture for the public.
She added that Chandrababu has always worked with a focus on the welfare of the poor, and this contribution is a small way of supporting that vision.
