The Murder case of YS Vivekananda Reddy was a sensation before the elections.
Viveka’s daughter and Jagan’s Sister Sharmila launched a campaign alleging that Jagan and his relatives are behind this murder.
A film titled Vivekam was made on the episode and got released directly on YouTube before the elections. The movie was immensely popular on YouTube back then.
Back then, even Sharmila endorsed that film
We can not quantify what role it played, but it was one of many things that went against YSR Congress in 2024.
And now, another film is being made on the same issue. The movie is titled ‘Hatya’ and is releasing on January 24th.
While Vivekam movie chose to skip the Censor by releasing directly on YouTube, Hatya chose to release in theaters and that is when their troubles started.
The movie was struck in the censor in the name if Censor Board and Revision Committees for nine and a half months.
Rumors are that the movie suffered close to 100 Censor Cuts.
It is finally releasing in theaters on January 24th.
