The entire country is looking forward to seeing if the situation has somewhat changed as people of the country were actually adhering to the lockdown norms for most of the part. Here comes a disappointment for those who actually thought that the lockdown may relax at least for a while.
The Government of India has extended the lockdown for a further two weeks and therefore, released a press note. That means this state of the extension will be in force until 17th May 2020 and then, a decision will be made depending upon the situation prevailing at that time.
The present lockdown was actually announced to be in effect until 4th May and there had been regulations in place depending upon the severity of the pandemic in a particular area.
We know that previously the Telangana government decided to continue the lockdown until 7th May and these new guidelines from the central government may alter the resolution of the State government in Telangana. Let’s wait and see.
