AP Government’s Massive Reward to PV Sindhu

Andhra Pradesh government may be late in announcing a reward to PV Sindhu who became the First Indian Woman to win a Silver Medal at Olympics, but came up with a massive reward. AP government had announced cash incentive of Three Crore to Sindhu beside offering a Group-1 Job and 1000 Square Yards Residential Plot in Amaravati.

Group-1 is the highest paid government job in Andhra Pradesh. The state government also announced 50 Lakhs Cash Reward to Pullela Gopichand, Sindhu’s coach. Sindhu is born in Vijayawada of Andhra Pradesh but brought up in Hyderabad. She started coaching at Pullela Gopichand Badminton Academy when she was six years old.

It was Chandrababu Naidu during his previous regime allotted 5 acres of Land to the Badminton Academy which is the hub for Badminton in the entire country. Telangana government announced One Crore, Delhi government 2 Crores, Madhya Pradesh government 50 Lakhs are the other rewards announced to the shuttler.
