
Every year, international women’s day is celebrated on March 8. And celebrating its women force, the Andhra Pradesh government has announced new schemes for women pretty early.
The first one is NTR’s Vidyalakshmi. Under this scheme, women will be given Rs 1 lakh loan at 25 paise interest for children’s education.
The next one is NTR Kalyanalakshmi, where the loan for daughter’s wedding will be released within 48 hours. Another scheme is to give away Rs 15000 worth smartphones for animators.
Already, the Chandrababu government is giving Talliki Vandanam, NTR baby kit scheme, Pradhan Mantri Mateu Vandana Yojana, Adabidda Nidhi Scheme targeted for women from economically backward sections, SCs, STs and BCs. Then there is Maternity Benefit Scheme for construction workers and free bus service to women in the state. There are also Balasanjeevani and Annapurna Hastam.
Chandrababu was the visionary CM who gave loans for micro finance for DWACRA women in combined Andhra Pradesh and brought in the spirit of empowerment in Telugu women.
