AP High Court’s Sensational Judgement, Trouble for Jagan Govt?

Retired Judge, V Eswaraiah who made several critical comments on the then Chandrababu Naidu sidelining BC judges was rewarded by Jagan Government by making him AP’s first Higher Education Judicial Commission chairman. Recently, he was caught on tape abusing the Judges of High court for troubling Jagan Government with various judgments.

In the leaked audio tapes, Eswaraiah claimed involvement in various controversial cases that demeaned the High Court and judges. Hearing to the issue, Andhra Pradesh High Court ordered an inquiry by Retired Supreme Court Judge, RV Ravindran on all the claims of Eswaraiah.

Ravindran will be allowed to take the help of CBI and Vigilance if needed in the inquiry. The High Court felt that Eshwaraih’s comments amount to the attack on the Judiciary of the country. Eswaraiah already admitted that it is his voice but said some words of his tampered.

In the tapes, Eswaraiah sounded as if he is acting at the behest of the Jagan Government and is trying to bring various judges of the High Court to support every decision of Andhra Pradesh Government. In such a case if proven, it will be trouble to the State Government.
