Dharman Impact: RAPO23 Faces a Delay?

Ram Pothineni's RAPO23 Release Likely Delayed to 2027

Ram Pothineni was initially expected to end 2026 with his directorial debut RAPO23. However, the film is now likely to miss its December release plan, with the shooting reportedly progressing slower than expected.

According to the latest industry buzz, only around 40% of the shoot has been completed so far. Ram’s involvement in Rajinikanth’s Dharman is said to have affected the film’s schedule, pushing its release plans further. With considerable portions still left to shoot, RAPO23 is now expected to arrive next year.

The delay means Ram could have two releases in 2027. Apart from RAPO23, he is also part of Dharman, which stars Rajinikanth in the lead role. Ram’s role in the film has generated curiosity, although the makers are yet to officially reveal his character.

RAPO23 is particularly important for Ram as he is handling both acting and directing responsibilities for the first time. The psychological action thriller has already attracted attention with its unusual concept and ambitious making. The delay may extend the wait, but 2027 could turn out to be a busy year for the actor if both projects arrive as expected.
