Apollo in Port city by month-end

Vishakapatnam will be having its first super-specialty hospital by Apollo Group. The hospital was built in an area of 10 acres with three lakh square ft. built-up space at a cost of Rs.100 crore. The hospital will be open by this month-end.

The hospital initially will have 250 beds and will increased to 1000 beds. The hospital will have a helipad and other facilities. Plans are on to to develop a resort to promote medical tourism as a joint venture.

Medical tourism helped Hyderabad a lot. The city is now witnessing NRIs from 165 countries to avail the medical facilities there. The new hospital in Vishakapatnam is likely to attract people from the Middle East, Africa, and South East Asia.
