Two more TDP MLAs board car!

Telangana TDP which is reeling under the pressure of back to back defections, suffered one more blow. Two of the party MLAs, Arikepudi Gandhi and Maganti Gopinadh met Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrasekahr Rao a short while ago in his Camp Office. It is said that they are joining TRS.

Maganti Gopinadh is the President of TDP – Hyderabad and he oversaw the party campaign in the recent GHMC elections. Both Gandhi and Gopinadh are from Kamma Community and so their joining in TRS will come as more surprise. Telangana TDP is now only left with two MLAs – Revanth Reddy and Sandra Venkata Veeraiah.

Both of them are accused in Cash for Vote scam. These two joinings are planned to hit the morale of T-TDP further ahead of the budget session of Telangana. With Gandhi and Gopinadh, 12 MLAs of TDP have joined TRS till date. Another MLA, Krishnaiah is staying aloof from the party affairs since the 2014 elections.
