Arun Jaitley Confirms AP Govt Submitting Utilization Certificates

Union Finance Minister Arun Jaitley in the Parliament once again revealed that Andhra Pradesh Government has submitted Utilization Certificates (UCs) for 946 Crore for the 1050 Crore funds given to the Backward Districts of the State. Jaitley also admitted that Center has credited 350 Crore for the state but took the money back.

Arun Jaitley told the house that there are some missing permissions for the funds’ release. The Center has put such funds pending for this fiscal and the last fiscal while the State BJP Leaders were busy peddling lies that the funds were misused and the State Government did not submit the necessary Utilization Certificates.

Earlier, Niti Aayog also confirmed that the UCs submitted by Andhra Pradesh Government is in order and the funds should be released immediately. That confirms that the BJP led Central Government is intentionally stopping the funds to the cash-starved state due to its political reasons.
