Jaitley’s Rediculous Reason for Not Revealing DeMo Numbers

It is more than Two Months after the Demonetization drive is complete but the RBI and Finance Ministry is yet to reveal the quantum of Old 500 and 1000 Notes that are not deposited back to banks which will give an idea about the gains of the historic decision.

Many believe that the government intentionally hid those numbers as the Demonetization gains are very meager. The other day, Finance Minister Arun Jaitley went on to say a strange reason for not revealing the number. “We are examining each and every note very carefully. A massive exercise is going on and hence the delay,” Jaitley said.

One can not really the intent behind carefully examining every note now. If this exercise is undertaken in banks, at least fake notes would have been eliminated. Probably, Jaitley is buying more time using complex terms.
