The mighty sentimental Ayodhya Ram Mandir is open for the public from today after the sacred Pran Prathishta that was done yesterday. And right on the first day, there was a chaotic situation at the Mandir.
Massive crowds flocked to the premises and tried to rush into the temple from the main entrance. Luckily there was no stampede despite the mad rush from the pilgrims. But there was evident physical distress, as is seen in a few videos that are going viral.
The fact that this happened on the very first day the temple opened its doors to the public is concerning. That said, it was always expected that there will be a mad rush to get a glimpse of Lord Shri Ram on the very first day after Ayodhya opened to the public.
People are calling for better security and planning arrangements from the temple authorities and the police personnel to avoid more such situations in the future.
The temple will be open to the public from 7 AM – 11:30 AM and then from 2 PM – 7 PM every day. There is a public call for better crowd management at the temple.
